• Perform delegated tasks from Chef and/or Manager • Day to day food preparation of the restaurant according to P&P standards

• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the Chef

• Maintain a prep list of station duties

• Follow the FIFO method to maximize freshness

• Assist in food inventory and control

• Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items

• Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines

• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or require Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant.

• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.

• Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.

• Able to spend 100% of the time standing.

An Exceptional Back Waiter to provide support to floor staff by inspecting the bar and all tables for the proper mise en place, ensuring bar is properly stocked, cleanliness and completeness. Will practice a high level of floor awareness and have exceptional knowledge of all food and beverage items. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services when necessary.

• Assist with food running, ensuring that plates arrive to the proper guest (no auctioning off)

• Assist with setting up the dining room and bar area, restocking bottles, restocking supplies, ice, etc.

• Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required

• Follow all food safety standards and systems

• Empty garbage, change linen bags and dispose of garbage and recycling

• Communicate to all front and back of house staff any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experience
